Terms of Service

Version 1, effective October 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of SignedBy (https://signedby.email), a service run by Luis Urrutia, an individual based in Chile ("we" or "us"). By using SignedBy, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

The service

SignedBy lets you design an email signature in your browser and copy it into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and other email apps. It is free, and an account is optional. We may add, change, or remove features. If we offer paid plans, their price and conditions will be shown before you buy, and they will form part of these terms.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, to create an account.
• Keep access to your email address and sign-in provider secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• You can stop using SignedBy at any time and ask us to delete your account.

Your content

• What you put in your signature stays yours.
• When you publish images, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, resize, and serve them, only to run SignedBy and for as long as they stay published.
• Published images are public: anyone with an image's link can open it. You confirm that you have the right to use every photo, logo, and trademark you publish, including photos of other people.

Acceptable use

Do not use SignedBy to:

• publish content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or sexualizes minors;
• impersonate a person or organization, or make signatures for phishing, fraud, or spam;
• publish malware, or images that do not belong in an email signature, or use the image host as file hosting;
• get around upload keys or limits, overload the service, or interfere with how it works.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we tell you why.

Reporting content

To report a published image that infringes your rights or breaks the law, write to support@signedby.email with its link and the reason. We review each report and remove the image when it is warranted.

Other services

SignedBy works with services we do not control. Email apps decide how they show a signature, recipients and their apps can block images, and some networks occasionally block the addresses of our hosting provider. Sign-in with Microsoft or Google is subject to their terms.

No warranty

SignedBy is provided free, "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or shown the same way by every email app, except where the law does not allow us to exclude such a promise.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of SignedBy. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, intent, or gross negligence, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Ending

You can stop using SignedBy at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. If we close the service, we will tell account holders in advance when we can, and published images may stop working.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we publish a new version with its date. If a change is significant, we say so on the site and email account holders before it takes effect. Using SignedBy after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile, and disputes go to the courts of Santiago, Chile. If you use SignedBy as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can also bring a claim in its courts.
